Den years ago, Icelandic photographer and surfer Elli Thor almost drowned in a kayaking accident. After that, everything changed for the adventurer. The near-death experience became a catalyst for his personal growth and the start of a new professional career. But the biggest change was the birth of his daughter Unnur. Renowned filmmaker Chris Burkard has now portrayed Elli in a short film that is well worth seeing. The result is an incredibly atmospheric and emotional film about life changes, being a father and why surfing in Iceland is one of the most absurd things ever.
